Whom We Serve

FEP partners with farmers across the U.S. to develop load and storage projects on agricultural land, boosting land values and creating new income streams. These partnerships give FEP low-cost land access, a scalable development pipeline, and provide landowners with a direct share of the profits generated on their land.

What We Do

Partnerships

FEP partners with local property owners and utilities to unlock underutilized land for data center, industrial load, and energy storage projects. This partnership focus allows us to secure long-term site control by:

  • Sharing profits in exchange for low-cost land options

  • Building relationships with utilities to optimally site projects

  • Developing custom projects to align with local industrial needs

Site Selection

All of FEP’s sites are sourced through on-the-ground insights and strong relationships with landowners, utilities, and  local governments. Once identified, FEP prioritizes the highest potential sites using analysis of:

  • IX queue positioning and transmission upgrades

  • Nodal pricing and locational marginal value

  • Permitting constraints, zoning overlays, and local land-use risk

Capital Structure

FEP’s unique capability to structure and provide the full capital stack for every project we develop accelerates timelines, reduces execution risk, and enhances returns for project buyers through offerings such as:

  • Tax equity bridge loans

  • Construction-to-term loans

  • Tax equity investments

Project Execution

FEP runs the entire project development process, from siting to sale. Throughout a project’s development life-cycle, Fernetic will typically manage:

  • Environmental studies, permitting, and interconnection

  • PPA negotiation with utilities and large power users

  • Project diligence and sales

Powering the
Future of U.S.
Land Development

Fernetic Energy Partners (FEP) is an energy development company that partners with U.S. property owners to identify scalable data center, industrial load, and energy storage opportunities on underutilized parcels of land. Leveraging 100+ years of development and project finance expertise – alongside relationships with banks, farmers, and industrial landlords – FEP’s mission aims to ease grid stress, site projects where utilities need them most, and unlock real value for landowners.
